Cell phone vs. Bible

Have you ever read this before?

Cell phone vs. Bible

Ever wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone?

What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?

What if we flipped through it several time a day?

What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?

What if we used it to receive messages from the text?

What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?

What if we gave it to kids as gifts?

What if we used it when we traveled?

What if we used it in case of emergency?

This is something to make you go....hmm...where is my Bible?

Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don't have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill.

Makes you stop and think 'where are my priorities? And no dropped calls!

'Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.'

Trust in the Lord and *ASAP (Always Say A Prayer)

Have a blessed and wonderful day!

A neat post, Katherine ~ Yesterday I went to the cardiologist's office for a stress test. They said to bring something to pass the time. I took my Bible, and after going back for a shot and returning to the lobby, I could not find my Bible. I did not want to use the ones they had, because mine is marked. I asked the receptionist if they could see if I left it back there. Well, they brought it out. I found lots of good verses to use on Word Filled Wednesdays.

Wouldn't this be a wonderful world if people treated their Bible the way they treat their cell phones. Thanks for sharing this with us today.

I've seen it, and I think it's a terrific reminder to put Christ first.

My pastor was mentioning this a few weeks ago. He had received an email with the message included. It's so true - if we only spread the message and stayed as close to God as we do our cell. Thank you for sharing.

Blessings,

Gigi

Sometimes, as we use our cell phones, we think we are closer to people...but I think we are getting farther away from them! Good post, thanks!
