Dear Katherine -
I read this on a blog on Sunday and I printed it out to share. It's all SO true! No matter what happens - God doesn't change.

Thank you for your blog about prayer. I have a prayer blog and I am glad to meet someone else with a passion for prayer. I believe that the prayers we have begun to see flow through out our nation are just the beginning of a revival if our churches don't fall back into apathy. I feel so alone sometimes and feel that there is no one else to share my burden for prayer. I am glad that I stumbled upon your blog. I hope to find more prayer warriors to communicate with. I belong to the www.teamsarah.org "Prayer Warrior" blog. It has been a blessing to connect with other prayer warriors. I hope that www.teamsarah.org continues or I can find another blog or forum to connect with others. God bless you.

I'm thanking God for you today Kathleen.

Thank you for giving everything you had to the Lord. Thanks for clear vision, faithfulness, honesty, truth, justice and love.

You are a true soldier of God!

Some people make life better and you are the better for knowing them... I am better off for having gotten to know you, that's for sure!

I also feel like I'm better off by getting to know Sarah Palin too!

I'm looking for good to come out of this bad situation....I'm down, but I'm looking up!

Those are wise words, Katherine, and I appreciated reading them. I'm feeling a bit down though and worried. I think I need to print out those ten things and keep looking at it today.

Amen. Thank you for these wonderful thoughts. It's good to be reminded when you're feeling down. And I am definitely feeling down today.

Hi Katherine,

I can't tell you how many times I've depended on this verse, I'm sure you have too.

"The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
Psalms 34:18

Thankfully, our strenght and courage does not come from government...Jesus, sweet Jesus is our strength and courage when we are weak.

You did your job and did it well. Go back to having fun on your blog and rest....we will all visit you there!!

Your blog here has been a blessing during these days leading up to the election. I feel we worked so hard, both spiritually and in actual deeds but God had other plans. Not knowing what this means has me on edge. I'm trying to rely on my faith alone but these anxious feelings keep popping into my head.

We all came together to pray for the election...it didn't matter what church we went to, our weight or height or places we lived....we all came together to pray for Sarah and John.

The most important part of the whole thing was we came together to pray!!! All who believed that Jesus Christ is our saviour, died and on the third day rose from the grave and lives today....we prayed together!! We came together!!

None of us will ever be the same! I begged for forgiveness and mercy!! I was blessed!

The Lord is calling us still closer...our prayers were heard!!!
He's telling us we NEED each other...come together...lift each other up... we prayed for a greater good, our country and the people in it.

I'm trying to say..Let not your heart be troubled!! We have work to do! We are prayer warriors!!!

Check out these groups

I believe we all need to get busy informing ourselves of bills being voted on and call our senators and congressman..especially the democrats...let our voices be heard! We need to put their phone numbers in speed dail..bookmark their e-mail addresses..whatever it takes. I KNOW some of you are doing this already.

God Bless you Katherine!!
