A Fall Prayer For Changing Times
In a time when so much is changing, surround yourself and those you love with beautiful reminders that what matters most stays the same.
Lord, there is so much happening in our world right now. In the midst of it all, it’s so good to know you’re in control, your love is never ending, and you provide for us. As the trees turn colors, and the nights grow cooler, may we be reminded that every season of our lives is a part of your loving plan. Amen. (by Holley Gerth, DaySpring Writer)
“For I know the plans I have for you” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

On the political side, we’re praying fervently for McCain’s “Change is Coming!” Obama also has a Change slogan, but we are praying, and praying hard that we won’t have to endure his kind of change!!
I’m feeling so encouraged by all the news I’m hearing about people and churches all over the nation who are praying, fasting, holding prayer vigils for a day, some up to three days! I have the faith that our Lord God is going to answer all these prayers of His Christian children crying out to Him!!
Keep praying, keep fasting, keep battling with scripture! Don’t give up! It’s a spiritual battle and the battle has already been won!!! Praise the Lord!! Thanking you, Lord Jesus, in advance! And thank You for the power of prayer you have given us!

I'm always encouraged by your optimism. We've got to keep praying. That's for sure.
Blessings,
Charlotte
Excellent post. This is so encouraging. Soldier on!
I think it's good to pray!
I'm wondering; however, if a certain candidate doesn't win, does that mean that God didn't answer our prayers; that He said no? Or does it mean that we didn't ask according to His Will? Or could it mean that a different candidate was indeed "God's man"?
"I have the faith that our Lord God is going to answer all these prayers of His Christian children crying out to Him!!"
Amen, Sister, Amen!
Love,
Kate.
The scripture Jeremiah 29:ll is very soothing. I am so glad you shared it today.I have visions of thousands of people praying the same prayer, it's beautiufl!
God Bless,
Ginger
I am praying; however, no matter who wins this election, God is in control. And whoever will be our next president is someone I will pray for.
Hi Katherine!
We are getting a good response from Team Sarah, do you have some ideas about how to fast you could post here? Several have mentioned they have never fasted before but are opened to it.
Thanks so much for everything you are doing for our Lord!
(You don't have to post this message)
We're praying. And I know that God is in control.
Blessings.

Thank you so much for all your replies and suggestions!!
One of the biggest blessings of this whole election process has been meeting you and all your sweet friends!
Dick and I will be fasting and praying tomorrow!!
Dick just told me that McCain is gaining a lead in Ohio...he's watching Fox News.
I've noticed at Team Sarah the Ohio team has been all over the boards asking all the groups to pray for them. If anything, we are coming together as one voice!
As we drove around our neighborhoods today, we noticed quite a few "Pray for abortion to end" signs. Lot's of McCain signs along side them!
I'll be on my knees!! God bless you Katherine!
How wonderful you've taken the time to answer people's questions and comments, bless you! Pray and fasting, that is the answer! Wonderful prayer and words of wisdom today.
Have a blessed day,
Kathi :)
I just noticed the words on your sideboard, "where there is faith..." I think this is the poster we should have in our front yards. It says everything we need to know in these troubled times.
